The continent of Ger'Shai is a history of blood, valor, and deception.
A battlefield where those who have won
Rewrites the history for those who have been slain.
The struggle of truth and lies centers on a common thread:
A law that cannot be vanquished.

Welcome to Pishon.
Pishon is a small village right in the heart of the Ger'shai continent. It's a safe haven for any who exists in it's four walls: a haven that comes at the ultimate price of freedom. For nearly three centuries, this little village has been under the constant imprisonment of a demon who is said to live in the south: Yhen. No one has any idea why they aren't allowed to leave the village, or why no one is allowed to enter. Why would they? It's forbidden to learn history, and anyone talking about it is immediately sentenced to death. No one knows where they came from, why this town exists, or if anything exists outside the village. They live in their own little world, trying to just make it through another day. The only person who seems to know about the history is the old town matriarch, Olga, and she's not speaking about it.
And so it has been like this for nearly 300 years. It is a relatively normal town, it's just that they are unable to leave. Some are perfectly content with it, without any fear of danger (as long as no laws are broken). Others are growing agitated as rumors begin to spread that an impending attack is coming, or so says the town's bartender, Nala, who claims to have had a vision of the attack.
You're story starts in this little village. It's the only life that you have ever known. It's a mix of three races of humans, dwarfs, and elves. You all have one thing in common.
You want to know why.
In this town, there is a rule that no one talks about the past. But, you do know that outside there is only evil: that is the only truth that you know. Outside those walls lies incredible danger that threatens the lives of every single person in your town. You have been told that Pishon is the last remaining remnant of truth and light in a world controlled by Yhen and his demons.
And the time comes when it's time for you and a group of adventurers to leave this village, and save it. A death happens that shakes the entire town to it's core. An impending strike is ready to destroy your family and friends. And for the first time in it's history, the guards suddenly leave the town, leaving it completely vulnerable. The only way to save your home is to leave it, and venture into a world of unknown, and seek out the precious "Tale of Pishon" that contains the answer that can save the town.
It's time for the first time to step out into Ger'shai.
And answering "why" comes at a greater price than you can possibly imagine.
